Privacy Policy

The short version

This site doesn’t run ad trackers and doesn’t sell personal data. Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics are optional: neither loads unless you choose Allow analytics. You can change that choice at any time using Analytics settings in the footer. Emailing me through a link on this site goes straight to my inbox — nothing is stored here.

What’s actually collected

Analytics. If you allow it, this site loads Google Analytics (GA4) and Ahrefs Web Analytics to report aggregate traffic — which pages get read, approximate location, device and referral information, and visit duration. GA4 may store a first-party identifier in your browser to distinguish visits. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and this property isn’t linked to an advertising product. Ahrefs Web Analytics is cookie-free by default. It processes page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, language, and approximate location; it uses a daily salted hash derived from IP address and user agent to count unique visitors, then discards the raw IP address. If you decline, neither analytics library is loaded and no analytics request is sent to Google or Ahrefs.

Your choice. The site stores your analytics choice in your browser so it can be respected on later visits. Select Analytics settings here or in any page footer to review or change it. Declining analytics does not affect the site.

Hosting logs. Like any site on the web, requests to this domain pass through my host, Cloudflare, which processes standard connection metadata (like IP address) transiently for security and performance. I don’t receive or store this myself; it’s covered by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.

Fonts. The typeface on this site is self-hosted — it ships from this domain, not from Google Fonts or any third-party font service. No separate request to an external font provider happens when you visit.

Contact links. The email links on this site open your own email client via a mailto: link. Nothing you type is transmitted to or stored by this site — it only exists once it lands in your outbox.

What I don’t do

No advertising or retargeting pixels. No selling personal data. No analytics before consent.
